Election Commission's notice against Atishi Singh: Allegation of threat to send him to jail

Delhi government minister Atishi Singh's troubles may increase as the Election Commission has sent him a notice. He may have to face charges and threat of sending him to jail if he does not join BJP. The Election Commission has sent a notice to Atishi and given him time till Monday to respond to it. Earlier too, BJP had sent a notice to Atishi in which it was asked from whose side he had received the offer to join the party.

Atishi Singh had alleged three days ago that he had received an offer to join BJP and if he did not accept it, he was also threatened with being sent to jail. He claimed that many AAP leaders are going to be arrested in the next two months. After this Saurabh Bhardwaj, Durgesh Pathak and Raghav Chadha will also be arrested.

Atishi Singh also said that he has been informed about the arrest of his leaders which poses a threat to his freedom. He said that this is against democracy. Despite this, BJP has denied these allegations and said that these are all lies. Their leader has said that these things said by Atishi are completely against the facts.

A BJP spokesperson said that there is no truth in Atishi Singh's claim and it is a false game in front of everyone. He said that the Election Commission should also send a message through this incident that no one should get busy in searching for false allegations. At the same time, Atishi Singh has also expressed hope by saying that the Election Commission will immediately look into the matter of his notice and hear it.
